Every year, since 2003 there has been a big event for the 1st of May in Berlin: Myfest a street fair in Berlin-Kreuzberg, which is aimed primarily at children and young people with culinary and cultural events and concerts. It is organized by the Network Myfest, Silke Fischer (2003 to 2009), a broad coalition of residents, traders, and citizens’ initiatives.
